Bitcoin's upward streak continues.
The cryptocurrency's price has once again set a record, breaking the $6,400 mark overnight
It's continued to climb and touched $6,498.31 this morning.
News of plans for bitcoin futures had already pusheed it to new highs yesterday. US-based exchange operator CME Group said it hopes to launch it by the end of the year.

It's a major move which analysts at Investec noted would take "the currency a step forward toward legitimacy".
"Will we be starting to quote commodity prices in Bitcoin?" it asked in a note on Wednesday morning.
