TSX edges up with US markets on holiday - BNNBloomberg.ca

In Toronto, the S&P/TSX composite index was down 5.04 points to 16,571.16.

The Dow Jones industrial average was up 248.57 points to 26,966.00, the Standard & Poor's 500 index was up 22.81 points to 2,995.82, and the Nasdaq composite index was up 61.14 points to 8170.23 at their respective closes yesterday before the Fourth of July holiday.

The Canadian dollar was trading at 76.58 cents US.
